For the life you are building

Start small.
Stand tall.

For you. For your people. For the life that is still taking shape. Meet Neeluna: a proposed fixed indexed annuity designed around a smaller beginning.

Design target: one original surrender year. Then access to 100% of posted value without a surrender charge or market value adjustment. Taxes may still apply. Unfinished indexed interest follows its strategy’s settlement rule.

This is Neeluna

Room to grow.
Something to hold on to.

Your ambition matters. So does what you have already built. Neeluna is designed to bring those two ideas together: potential indexed interest, a 0% indexed-credit floor, and clearly defined access to your money.

Seven proposed strategies reference the Blue Sapphire Index. One proposed Fixed Account stands alongside them. The index measures change; the insurance contract determines interest. You would not own the index or its investments.

The Neeluna vision

The future belongs to people who begin.

Some people inherit a foundation. Others build one. Neeluna is being designed for the first saver in the family, the new parent, the person learning a trade and the graduate finding their footing.

A proposed $100 start. Additions of $10 or more. No compulsory payment schedule. Build accessible emergency savings alongside your long-term plan, and choose a pace that fits the life you actually live.

Small money is still your money. It deserves respect.

01 / BEGIN

Use what you have.

A proposed $100 opening premium and $10 additions are designed to put a beginning within reach.

02 / KNOW

Never sign what you cannot explain.

See how interest works, when it becomes yours and what happens if life makes you reach the money early.

03 / OWN

Your money answers to your life.

Clear access rules, a proposed indexed-credit floor and human language stay at the center of the experience.

Different roads. A future of your own.

The work is yours.
The future should be, too.

Work boots or a first-day badge. A toolbox or a degree. The way you earn a living does not decide whether you deserve a plan.

Skill into ownership

For the people who know how the world gets built.

Apprentices, electricians, HVAC technicians, welders, mechanics, carpenters, plumbers, caregivers and the workers turning a trade into a life. Start before the perfect paycheck. Add money when the overtime comes. Pause when life gets loud.

Young professionals planning their next steps together at a neighborhood café
Education into independence

For the people carrying a degree and everything that came with it.

New teachers, nurses, engineers, social workers, creators and first-generation graduates learning how to build a life while the loans, rent and responsibilities already showed up. Your first contribution does not need to look impressive. It needs to be yours.

18 proposed Core features

The whole design.
Nothing in the shadows.

The small beginning. The interest choices. The access rules. See the full proposed Core below, then explore first-year waivers and the separate optional modules. These are design targets, not currently available benefits.

01 / OPEN THE DOOR

Begin with $100.

The proposed opening premium is $100. It creates a serious long-term starting point without requiring a five-figure deposit.

02 / KEEP BUILDING

Add $10 or more.

Make additions when life allows. The design calls for no required ongoing contribution schedule, and later additions would not restart the original surrender period.

03 / PROTECT THE FLOOR

No negative indexed credit.

Each proposed indexed method would have a 0% credit floor at its stated crediting event. A valid gain lock follows its own observation rules. A later index decline does not reverse interest already posted.

04 / CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Eight ways to earn interest.

Choose among seven Blue Sapphire methods or a Fixed Account: one-, two- and three-year participation, cap, enhanced cap, gain lock, trigger or declared interest.

05 / KEEP IT SHORT

One original surrender year.

The proposed surrender period applies only to the first contract year. Its charge starts at no more than 1% and declines daily on applicable withdrawn principal.

06 / REACH YOUR MONEY

After one year, it is accessible.

Under the proposed design, after the original first anniversary, an owner could access 100% of posted account value without a surrender charge or market value adjustment. Unfinished indexed interest follows the settlement rule of the strategy you selected.

07 / AVOID THE MVA

No market value adjustment.

The proposed base contract does not increase or reduce a withdrawal because interest rates changed after purchase.

08 / KEEP THE ACCOUNT CLEAN

No recurring strategy debit.

The design has no recurring base-contract or index-strategy account charge. Taxes, withdrawals and any first-year surrender charge can still affect value.

09 / UNDERSTAND EARLY ACCESS

Defined settlement rules.

Every multi-year or unfinished indexed strategy is designed with a specific early-settlement formula, so access is explained before a customer chooses.

10 / PRESERVE A GAIN

A prospective gain-lock choice.

The gain-lock method can preserve an eligible observed gain for the strategy calculation. It is an elected lock during the term, with no hindsight selection.

11 / CHOOSE CERTAINTY

A Fixed Account is included.

Money allocated to the proposed Fixed Account would earn a declared rate for its guarantee period, independently of Blue Sapphire’s result.

12 / SEE THE TRADE-OFF

Plain language before selection.

Term length, crediting formula, floor, upside limit and early-access treatment appear together. A customer can compare what each method gives and exchanges.

13 / VALUE EVERY DOLLAR

Every eligible premium dollar enters value.

The owner-protection design does not deduct producer compensation from the premium. Compensation is modeled as an issuer-funded cost.

14 / INCLUDE MORE GENERATIONS

Proposed Core ages: 0 through 100.

A legal representative acts for a minor under an approved custodial or guardianship arrangement. Older-age review centers on purpose, access and beneficiary needs.

15 / CHOOSE THE REGISTRATION

Qualified and nonqualified paths.

The proposed Core supports nonqualified ownership, owner-held Traditional IRA and Roth IRA registrations, plus approved minor-custody variants.

16 / SAVE YOUR WAY

Recurring or occasional additions.

Use weekly, biweekly, monthly or other supported instructions, or add money when you can. Automatic increases require your choice and remain changeable.

17 / DIVIDE IT YOUR WAY

No institutional strategy minimum.

The initial purchase and later additions can be divided among all eight choices. The proposed minimum allocation is one cent.

18 / KEEP A SMALL BALANCE

Partial withdrawals may leave $1.

The $100 opening minimum is not reapplied after a partial withdrawal. Under the proposed operating rule, an owner may keep the contract open with as little as $1.

Small money is still real money.

You do not need to arrive wealthy. A hundred dollars can be the first receipt proving that your future belongs to you. Ten more dollars can be the next promise you kept when nobody was watching.

When real life needs the money

Life happens.
Your plan should know that.

Two proposed first-year allowances, plus Crisis Access for qualifying needs. After the original first year, the design would make posted value accessible without surrender charge.

A young mother holding her sleeping child at home while city lights glow outside
Everyday Access

20% for life as it happens.

A proposed first-year surrender-charge-free allowance equal to 20% of the revised premium high-water base, less prior Everyday usage. It can be used without proving a special hardship.

Health

Care should not have to wait.

Medical, dental, vision and mental-health needs, prescriptions, equipment and insurance out-of-pocket obligations, limited to the verified amount owed or unreimbursed.

Housing

Help keeping or finding a home.

Rent, mortgage installments, first and last rent, security deposits, a closing down payment, essential repairs, utilities and accessibility work.

Transportation

Keep moving when transportation fails.

Necessary auto repairs, tires, brakes, a battery, an insurance deductible, or a necessary replacement or down payment through a verified provider.

Education & work

Invest in the next opportunity.

Tuition, training, books, required equipment, professional licensing, relocation and student-loan payments, with the correct tax classification preserved.

Family & care

Support the people depending on you.

Childcare, dependent or elder care, respite care, adoption, fertility or childbirth expenses, funeral costs and limited emergency family travel.

Recovery & safety

A route out of the emergency.

Disaster cleanup, temporary housing, identity-theft recovery, urgent safety relocation and guardianship costs, with confidential human review.

Life Access pool

Another shared 20% in year one.

Under the design, the six documented Life categories would share a separate first-year allowance equal to 20% of the revised premium high-water base, capped by approved need and available value.

DirectPay

Pay the bill or protect your privacy.

Verified payment can go directly to a provider when helpful. Reimbursement remains available when privacy or personal safety makes direct payment inappropriate.

Core Crisis Access

Some moments need more than 20%.

Severe medical or functional need

The design would release up to 100% of remaining eligible settlement value without surrender charge after qualifying certification.

Long-term-care trigger

Proposed qualification includes inability to perform at least two of six activities of daily living for an expected 90 days, or severe cognitive impairment. The 90-day expectation is not an added wait to request Core access.

Terminal illness or permanent disability

Terminal illness is proposed as a certified life expectancy of 12 months or less. Severe permanent disability uses a documented long-duration functional or earning-capacity standard.

Involuntary unemployment

After 60 consecutive days for the owner or spouse, access may cover up to six months of verified essential household obligations, within remaining value.

Housing, disaster and personal safety

Foreclosure, eviction, disaster displacement and urgent safety relocation use the documented amount needed for cure or recovery. Abuse-related access can use confidential attestation.

Care in more places

Qualifying settings can include nursing facilities, assisted living, qualified home care and appropriate community or adult day care, subject to approved definitions.

Life Access and Crisis Access release the owner’s existing contract value; they do not create new insurance money. First-year allowances do not replenish when withdrawn funds are redeposited. Verification, available value and approved contract definitions control. A denied waiver requires reasons, an appeal route and renewed consent before any chargeable withdrawal.

Beyond the proposed Core

Think further ahead.

Roth-continuity functionality and optional insured modules are being developed separately. Insured modules require pricing, approved terms and underwriting where applicable. None is available today.

A young couple looking across their city at sunrise

Roth continuity

Proposed eligible Traditional-to-Roth conversions would preserve original index dates, surrender chronology and economic rights, with separate tax records. Verified regular Roth contribution access is also part of the design. A conversion may create current income tax; contributions, conversions and earnings follow different withdrawal rules.

Account functionality · Tax and form approval required

Lifetime income

The proposed module would create up to ten staged income streams, with separate supporting value and benefit records. Proposed choices can include level, increasing, CPI-linked or bridge income, with the effect of excess withdrawals shown first.

Optional insured module

Extended care

The proposed Core would release existing value for qualifying care. A separately priced Care module is being developed to continue finite or lifetime insured benefits after designated account value is depleted.

Optional underwriting and pricing

Legacy protection

Proposed Core death settlement includes posted value and the applicable unfinished-interest settlement. Proposed Legacy variants would add a priced death-benefit floor or protect a defined inheritance through conforming income.

Optional insured module

No smoke. No mystery.

Know the rule before your money moves.

A fixed indexed annuity uses a defined formula to connect possible interest to an index without putting your money directly into that index.

01

Pick the promise you understand.

Seven Blue Sapphire methods and one Fixed Account offer different relationships among time, upside and certainty. Nothing needs to be dressed up.

02

Let the written rule do its job.

At the crediting event, the selected cap, participation rate or trigger calculates the interest. The index result and your annuity credit are different numbers.

03

What gets posted stays posted.

The proposed indexed credit cannot fall below 0%. Later index losses do not come back and steal interest already posted to your account.

The proposed floor applies to indexed credits. Withdrawals, any applicable surrender charges, taxes, inflation and insurer credit risk still matter. Final guarantees require an issued contract.

Eight proposed choices

Every road has a rule. Choose yours with both eyes open.

Explore how each proposed method would work. No available-for-sale rates are quoted; feasibility, pricing, and final terms remain unresolved.

Your money. Your life.

One year asks for patience. After that, the door is open.

The current design makes the first-year rule clear and keeps later access simple.

$100Proposed initial premium
$10Proposed minimum addition
1 yearProposed: full access to posted value without surrender charge or MVA

You are building for tomorrow.
You still live today.

Add money without starting a new surrender clock. Neeluna’s proposed Core has no market value adjustment and no recurring base-contract or index-strategy account debit.

Posted value is already recorded in your account. Unfinished indexed interest is still being measured. Each follows the access rule explained before you choose.

At the beginning

Choose your allocation and add money at your pace. New contributions receive their own reference starting points.

During the first year

A proposed charge of up to 1% declines daily on withdrawn principal not covered by a charge waiver or free-withdrawal allowance. Those exceptions would be defined in the contract.

After the original first anniversary

The design targets access to 100% of posted account value without surrender charge or MVA. Unfinished indexed interest follows its strategy’s separate settlement formula. Ending the surrender period does not end applicable tax rules.

Ask everything

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Read it. Question it. Ask someone to explain it again. Your money deserves that much respect.

Can I purchase Neeluna today?

No. Neeluna is a proposed fixed indexed annuity concept, not an available product. An insurer, feasible pricing, approved contract terms and any required authorizations would need to be established before an offer could exist. This website explains the design and does not accept applications or payments. No launch date or future availability is promised.

How is this different from investing in the market?

An FIA is an insurance contract. Its index is a reference used to calculate interest under the contract’s formula. You do not buy shares in the index. Caps, participation rates, term lengths and other terms determine the interest that may be credited.

What happens when the index goes down?

The proposed indexed methods have a 0% credit floor at the stated crediting event. Index losses would not create a negative indexed credit or reverse prior posted interest. A valid gain lock would follow its own observation rules. The floor does not remove other risks or the effects of withdrawals, charges, taxes or inflation.

What is the Blue Sapphire Index?

Blue Sapphire is the research index selected as Neeluna’s proposed reference. Its retained long-term history is retrospective modeled performance. That history is not a record of returns earned by annuity owners, and it does not establish future performance.

When will caps and participation rates be available?

No date is established. Available-for-sale caps, participation rates, trigger rates and Fixed Account rates would require insurer pricing and appropriate approvals. Any actual offer would need to state the rate, its guarantee period, renewal rules and applicable minimums. No current product rate is quoted here.

Can I add money later or change my mind?

The current design allows additions of $10 or more with no required contribution schedule. Additions would not restart the original surrender period. A withdrawal may affect your benefits, taxes and unfinished interest. Exact cancellation, withdrawal and strategy-change rights must be established in the issued contract.

What hardship withdrawals are included?

During the first year, the proposed design includes a 20% Everyday surrender-charge-free allowance and a separate shared 20% Life Access allowance for verified health, housing, transportation, education and work, family and care, recovery and safety needs. Core Crisis Access can release more of the owner’s remaining eligible value for qualifying illness, disability, long-term-care, unemployment, housing, disaster or urgent-safety events. These provisions release existing contract value, are limited by available value and approved need, and do not create extra insurance money. After the original first anniversary, the design would make posted account value available without surrender charge or MVA.

Does putting withdrawn money back restore the allowances?

No. First-year Everyday and Life capacities use a high-water funding rule. Redepositing money that was already withdrawn does not refill either allowance. Only new external premiums that raise net funding above its earlier high-water level can create additional capacity.

Does access without a surrender charge mean tax-free access?

No. A contract waiver removes a contract charge, not tax rules. Income tax and a 10% federal additional tax before age 59½ may apply unless an exception applies. IRA, Roth IRA and nonqualified annuity rules differ. An approved hardship waiver does not, by itself, establish an IRS exception. Review the tax treatment before taking money out. See IRS annuity guidance and IRA withdrawal guidance.

Is an annuity right for everyone?

No. An annuity is designed for retirement and other long-term goals, even when its contract offers flexible withdrawals. Consider emergency savings, cash needs, taxes and the effect of withdrawals on future benefits. Review those needs with a licensed professional before purchasing. No purchase decision is requested through this preview.

Personal product-design preview by Nelson Ryan Knill. Neeluna is a proposed fixed indexed annuity and is not available for purchase. The features, dollar amounts, access provisions and modules on this page describe design targets, not issued contract terms or benefits currently available. They remain subject to feasibility, insurer acceptance, pricing, approved forms and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. No issuer or launch date is established by this presentation. No employer, insurer or other institution is represented as a sponsor, issuer, distributor or endorser.

Any eventual contract guarantees would depend on the issuing insurer’s claims-paying ability. Annuities are not bank deposits and are not FDIC-insured. A 0% indexed-credit floor is not a guarantee against all reductions in value. Index results do not equal annuity credits. Withdrawals, contract charges and taxes may affect amounts received. No current crediting rates or personalized recommendations are provided.

Blue Sapphire’s retained historical results are retrospective modeled research. They do not represent a live annuity track record.
